Assist in ensuring that the organization complies with data privacy laws (DPDP, IT Act) and other relevant regulations governing data privacy.
Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures to safeguard the privacy of personal data.
Conduct privacy impact assessments to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as legal, IT, and security, to ensure alignment on data privacy initiatives.
Assist in training and educating employees on data privacy practices and raising awareness within the organization.
Manage data subject access requests, including responding to inquiries and facilitating data deletion requests.
Monitor and investigate potential data breaches and mitigate risks and impacts.
Discover and maintain an inventory of personal data and ensure that it is accurate, complete, and up to date.
Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure that they comply with contractual obligations related to data privacy.
Participate in data privacy audits, assessments, and certifications to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
