Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team. The Quality Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our ServiceNow products and services by conducting thorough testing and analysis. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in quality.Key Responsibilities: 1. Test Planning and Execution: o Develop and maintain test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of product or service functionality. o Execute test cases, both manually and through automated testing tools, and document test results. 2. Defect Identification and Reporting: o Identify and report defects or quality issues, including detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce. o Work closely with development teams to facilitate defect resolution and retesting. 3. Quality Metrics and Reporting: o Monitor and track key quality metrics and KPIs to assess product or service quality. o Generate and communicate quality reports to stakeholders. 4. Regression Testing: o Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not introduce new defects or impact existing functionality. 5. Process Improvement: o Participate in process improvement initiatives related to quality assurance. o Collaborate with teams to implement best practices and drive quality improvements. 6. Documentation: o Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of test cases, test results, and quality-related processes. 7. Collaboration: o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle. 8. Continuous Learning: o Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and testing methodologies. They should know some kind of automation tool like selenium , testNG etc Postman, rest api testing SQL Basic scripting needed to run test automation framework.
We are not looking for manual testing experience only. Someone who knows a bit of programming so they can learn atf of ServiceNow in due line.
Also, comms and presentation skills must be excellent as they will be senior to current QA, will be customer facing.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Proven experience as a Quality Analyst or in a similar quality assurance role. Strong knowledge of quality assurance and testing methodologies. Experience with testing tools and test case management software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus. Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages is a plus.
