The Co-Head of India Margin Operations Manager will be part of the Global Margin Operations organisation and India IBCPO Leadership. Spread across globally, Margin Operations is a team of circa 160+ people globally of which 64% of the footprint is based in India.
This role is responsible for the operational delivery of aligned processes for Margin Operations, including but not limited to talent development, day to day process governance, control and exception handling, quality assurance, process optimization and managing functional transformation. The incumbent is expected to collaborate with other regional leads, operations partners and the business.
This role will also have additional role of site level management representation for all the Investment Banking and Cross Product operations teams in Jaipur.
The role will directly report into the India Head of IBCPO and have functional reporting to Global Head of Margin Operations.

Key responsibilities:
Co-Head Margin Operations, managing operations processes with teams across Bangalore & Jaipur locations with circa50 staff.
Advise relevant senior management and representatives in the Business, clients, audit and other Infrastructure functions on Operations Processes and respective risks.
Evaluate new transactions, products, and Business initiatives in close partnership with relevant stakeholders.
Develop/maintain/enhance an effective control framework/environment.
Hire, develop and reward staff based on meritocracy and promote collaboration and diversity, identify, and develop high performers.
Support, develop and implement a multi-year strategy for Margin Operations in conjunction with Business, Technology and other Functional Global leads
Strategically influence the Margin Operations roadmap to ensure DB are at or above competitor levels in terms of platforms and infrastructure.
Engage in client reviews to ensure best in class service is delivered, monitoring client satisfaction & service levels.
Management of budget and headcount to achieve agreed targets.
Maintain and cultivate a culture and environment where processes and control are continuously monitored, and risks escalated in timely manner Experience/skills
A minimum 15 years of experience in Operations, Settlements and Payment processing
Strong understanding of Margin and Fixed Income products and excellent understanding of their associated controls. Appreciation of the risks in the various processes in Margin processing for multiple products OTC, Cleared OTC, Repo and Listed Derivatives.
A proven, considerable level of analytical, problem solving and resource planning skills
Demonstration of excellent communication and influencing skills Build a strong partnership with global teams across Operations, Business and Technology teams
An ability to work independently to solve business problems, an inquisitive nature, a willingness to ask questions and challenge, ability to work in fast-paced environment and guide and mentor more junior team members
Excellent communication skills with good proficiency with MS excel tools like MS Excel, MS Power Point
