Skills Required:
A bachelor s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university or college.
4-5 years of experience as a site engineer, civil engineer or an equivalent role.
Proficiency in project planning and site execution, delivering projects on time and under cost.
Strong technical knowledge of construction principles, methods, quality systems and materials.
Clarity of building codes, regulations, and safety standards applicable to construction projects.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Proficiency in quantity surveying methods, quantity and cost estimation and billing.
Proficiency in MS project, AutoCad, Excel, Power Point, Word.
Familiarity with common MIS reports and project engineering documentation.
Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders like client, sub-contractor, vendors etc
Roles and Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret engineering plans, aerial photography, blueprints, topographical &
geologic data and technical drawings to plan and execute construction activities.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues and
ensure compliance with engineering and design requirements.
Identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures to minimize project
delays, cost overruns and safety hazards.
Providing technical guidance and expertise to resolve construction-related challenges.
Supervise day to day construction activities on site, Coordinate with site personnel,
subcontractors, client team to resolve technical or execution issues on day to day basis.
Monitor progress against the project schedule, identify and address any delays or
deviations promptly.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards
Layout checking for adherence to plans.
Check the quality of Shuttering and workmanship.
Check Steel as per BBS.
Ensure proper execution of work like mixing of concrete as per Design Mix, Pouring, lines and alignment, curing.
Assist Project Manager in preparation for material requirement in line with schedule and
work quantities planned.
Monitor inventory levels, Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of all
construction and Shuttering Material at Site.
Conduct periodic reconciliation of material in site and store.
Track material usage, minimize waste and prevent shortages or overages.
Monitor project costs, identify cost saving opportunities and ensure all costs are
minimized.
Preparation and enforcement of Labor Requirement Planning in line with schedule.
Make Labor Availability and Utilization Report.
Give requirements of labor to Sub Contractors with day to day Schedules and Directions.
