Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Lucee Developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to build high-performance, scalable applications using Lucee and CFML.

Location: Jaipur, Udaipur, Kolkata, Bangalore
Experience Required: 3+ years

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Lucee and CFML, ensuring they meet functional and performance requirements.
• Lead migration projects from Adobe ColdFusion9 to Lucee, ensuring smooth transition with minimal disruption.
• Optimize and refactor legacy ColdFusion code to improve maintainability, performance, and security.
• Design and implement database schemas, write optimized SQL queries, and enhance database performance.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to integrate server-side logic with user-facing components.
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve overall code quality.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues such as performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and functional bugs.
• Maintain technical documentation for code, processes, and system architecture.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Provide technical support for production applications, addressing issues quickly to minimize downtime.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Lucee and CFML.
• Strong proficiency in ColdFusion and Lucee, with expertise in migration from ColdFusion to Lucee.
• Experience in optimizing legacy ColdFusion applications for better performance and security.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript for front-end integration.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker, Solr, and SeeFusion.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and resolve complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with ColdFusion frameworks such as ColdBox, Fusebox, seeFusion
• Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js).
• Understanding of CI/CD processes, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker, Solr, SeeFusion and DevOps practices.

Education:

Bachelors degree, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
