Test Engineer Calypso (Immediate Joiner)

Responsibilities:

• Lead QA activities for Calypso Upgrade projects, ensuring quality is maintained throughout the process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the migration from legacy applications to the Calypso platform, validating the successful transition of data, workflows, and functionality.
• Perform in-depth testing of Interest Rates, Commodity, and FX products within Calypso, with expertise in the entire front-to-back office lifecycle.
• Validate and test Calypso Pricing, Accounting, and Reporting frameworks to ensure accuracy and consistency across the platform.
• Conduct testing of Calypsos Back-office templates, Task Station, and Scheduled Task functionality.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting by testing the Calypso DTCC (CFTC, ESMA, FCA, and Canadian) Reporting Module.
• Work with configurations in Calypso front to back, ensuring multiple integrations with external platforms are seamless.
• Review and develop test cases, execute test scenarios, and document results.
• Perform end-to-end testing and troubleshooting, tracking defects and providing resolution.
• Provide expert-level support for production issues and work closely with the development team for problem resolution.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QA capacity with extensive hands-on experience in Calypso.
• Proven experience in Calypso Upgrade projects and migrating from legacy systems to the Calypso platform.
• Expertise in Interest Rates, Commodities, and FX products, with a deep understanding of their workflows and lifecycle events within Calypso.
• Strong knowledge of Calypso Pricing, Accounting, Workflows, and Reporting Frameworks.
• Experience working with Calypso Back-office templates, Task Station, and Scheduled Task functionality.
• Experience with Calypso versions 16.1 and onwards.
• In-depth knowledge of Calypso DTCC Reporting Module for CFTC, ESMA, FCA, and Canadian regulations.
• Familiarity with Calypso configurations, and the integration of external platforms to Calypso.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience in automated testing of Calypso systems.
• Experience working in financial institutions or trading environments.
