Security Engineer (with strong DevOps experience)

About Us

Implement and maintain robust security controls to protect user data, prevent
unauthorized access, and ensure platform integrity.
Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
Develop and implement a comprehensive security incident and response (SIR) plan.
Collaborate with developers to build security best practices into the development
lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Document security policies and procedures.

DevOps Engineering:

Automate build, test, and deployment processes using DevOps tools and methodologies
(CI/CD).
Configure and manage infrastructure on AWS, ensuring optimal performance, scalability,
and security.
Monitor and maintain system health and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
Collaborate with developers and other teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of
the platform.

Qualifications :

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or
equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in security engineering or a similar role.
2+ years of experience with DevOps principles and practices.
Strong understanding of security best practices (OWASP, CWE).
Experience with security testing tools and methodologies (penetration testing,
vulnerability scanning).
Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS (AWS Security best practices a plus).
Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible) (a plus).
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) (a plus).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
