About Us

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth across Net Zero Indias diverse product and service offerings. The ideal candidate will identify opportunities, build relationships, and expand business across schools, households, MSMEs, and industries. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Growth & Strategy Develop and execute sales and partnership strategies. Identify market trends and customer needs to align business offerings. Drive revenue growth by acquiring and managing clients. 2. Market Expansion & Client Acquisition Schools: Promote sustainability education, solar adoption, and carbon footprint reduction programs. Build partnerships with school administrations. Homes: Promote the PM Surya Ghar Scheme, sustainable living, and green technology adoption. Small Businesses (MSMEs): Help MSMEs adopt energy-efficient practices, access ESG services, and integrate sustainable supply chain solutions. Industries: Work with enterprises to implement carbon offsetting, renewable energy transitions, and emission reduction plans. 3. Partnership Development & Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with government agencies, industry bodies, educational institutions, and corporate partners. Build strong relationships with key decision-makers to drive business growth. 4. Sales & Revenue Generation Pitch and sell solar energy solutions, carbon offset programs, green technology services, and sustainability consulting. Manage sales cycles, including lead generation, proposals, negotiations, and deal closures. 5. Product & Initiative Promotion Work with marketing and technical teams to develop proposals and promotional materials. Represent Net Zero India at industry events and networking opportunities. Key Qualifications & Skills 3-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or sustainability consulting. Strong understanding of renewable energy, carbon reduction strategies, ESG, and sustainability initiatives. Proven ability to build relationships with schools, homeowners, small businesses, and industrial clients. Experience in government projects, MSMEs, or B2B/B2C sales is a plus.
