As a Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans and procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications, systems, or products
Working closely with development teams, you will identify defects, verify functionality, and validate performance to meet project requirements and customer expectations
Your role will involve both manual and automated testing techniques, as well as collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Responsibilities:Test Planning: Collaborate with project stakeholders to define test objectives, scope, and strategies based on project requirements and specifications
Test Design: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to cover functional, performance, and usability aspects of software applications or systems
Test Execution: Execute test cases and procedures, both manually and using automated testing tools, to identify defects, validate functionality, and ensure adherence to quality standards
Defect Management: Document and track defects using issue tracking systems, such as Jira or Bugzilla, and work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that software changes and updates do not adversely impact existing functionality and performance
Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing, load testing, and stress testing to assess system scalability, reliability, and responsiveness under different conditions
Test Reporting: Prepare and present test reports, metrics, and findings to project stakeholders, including recommendations for improvements and corrective actions
Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, product managers, and quality assurance (QA) engineers to ensure alignment of testing activities with project timelines and objectives
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance testing processes, methodologies, and tools to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and test coverage
