Mern Stack Developer

Responsibilities

Write clean, maintainable code across front-end and back-end services using Next.js, Node, Go, GraphQL, etc.

Build and test prototypes quickly, gathering feedback and iterating to improve functionality

Implement best practices and maintain high code quality

Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Ensure platform's reliability and performance as we scale

Learn and apply construction industry knowledge to technical solutions

Qualifications

>7 years of software engineering experience with both front-end and back-end development

Experience building and deploying production grade applications

Familiar with modern web technologies including Node.js, React, and TypeScript

Strong programming experience with Go and Typescript and preferrably Python

Familiar with GraphQL and RESTful API.

Experience with containerization using Docker and CI/CD practices

Experience building with AWS services: EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, SES etc.

Advanced knowledge of relational and non-relational databases

Proficiency in DevOps practices such as automated testing, continuous integration, and automated deployments

Experience working in an agile environment

Quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communicator who can work effectively in a small team

Bonus

Experience integrating/building with ML based solutions

Familiarity/experience with GenAI/LLM applications like RAG, agentic workflows etc.

Experience with both GraphQL and REST APIs

Container orchestration using Kubernetes

Background in startup or small team environments
