Job Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous Garment Quality Checker to ensure that our finished garments meet design specifications, size chart measurements, and quality standards before they are inward into the warehouse. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of garment construction, and experience working with different fabric types, stitching, and finishing techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect finished garments to ensure they match approved samples and size chart specifications.
• Check fabric quality, stitching, trims, and overall finishing of garments.
• Identify and report any defects such as incorrect stitching, fabric flaws, or fit issues.
• Ensure that all garments meet internal quality control standards before being accepted.
• Coordinate with production and design teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Maintain detailed records of quality checks and communicate findings with relevant teams.
• Suggest improvements in quality control processes to enhance overall product consistency.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in a garment or export house.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to measure garments accurately and compare them against size charts.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A diploma or degree in fashion, textiles, or a related field is a plus.
