Description

  • We are seeking a QA Trainee to contribute to software quality assessment through Manual Testing
  • In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and apply testing methodologies while assisting in the identification and reporting of software bugs and glitches

Responsibilities:
  • Review and meticulously analyze system specifications to understand testing requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with experienced QA Engineers to formulate effective testing strategies and comprehensive test plans.
  • Execute both manual and potentially automated test cases to evaluate software functionality and performance.
  • Evaluate product code against defined specifications, ensuring alignment.
  • Maintain detailed logs to systematically document testing phases and record identified defects.
  • Methodically report bugs, errors, and irregularities to the development teams for resolution.
  • Contribute to the troubleshooting process to address and mitigate any identified issues.
  • Participate in post-release and post-implementation testing to validate software stability.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to instill quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements and Skills:
  • A strong willingness to learn and adapt, paired with a keen interest in Quality Assurance.
  • Familiarity with software testing principles is a plus, but no prior experience is required.
  • Basic understanding of project management concepts and QA methodologies is beneficial.
  • Exposure to Agile frameworks and regression testing would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in documenting and effectively communicating errors and issues.
  • Basic working knowledge of test management software such as qTest or Zephyr, as well as SQL.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, a logical mindset, and the ability to approach problems analytically.
  • Strong organizational skills, enabling you to manage tasks and prioritize effectively.
