Objectives of the Job/Role:
Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the bottling process, ensuring efficiency, quality control, safety, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Bottling Line Management:

• Oversee the entire bottling process, ensuring optimal production, packaging, and labelling standards.
• Ensure production targets are met while maintaining the highest levels of quality.
• Monitor the performance of the bottling line equipment, ensuring it runs at maximum efficiency and addressing issues promptly.
• Team Leadership & Staff Management:
• Lead and manage the bottling operations team, including supervisors, operators, and other staff.
• Organize training sessions to enhance team skills and ensure proper safety and operational practices are followed.
• Ensure staff adherence to operational schedules, and address any performance issues.
• Quality Control & Compliance:
• Ensure strict compliances & norms as per state excise, FSSAI & other regulatory bodies.
• Conduct regular quality checks throughout the bottling process to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance processes and address any quality issues promptly.
• Production Planning & Inventory Management:
• Collaborate with the production planning team to ensure proper raw material, packaging materials, and inventory are available.
• Ensure stock management protocols for bottled products are in place, minimizing wastage and ensuring efficient production flows.
• Prepare and manage production schedules to align with market demand and other operational requirements.
• Safety & Environmental Compliance:
• Maintain a safe and compliant working environment by ensuring safety protocols are in place and adhered to by all staff.
• Conduct regular safety audits, ensuring compliance with environmental laws and internal safety standards.
• Investigate accidents or incidents and take corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
• Process Improvement & Cost Control:
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce bottling costs.
• Identify opportunities for automation and optimization in the bottling process.
• Monitor waste reduction and identify areas for operational cost savings.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Prepare and present regular reports on production metrics, quality control, and safety performance to senior management.
• Ensure proper documentation of production activities, including batch records, maintenance logs, and compliance records.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
• Equipment and Facility Maintenance:
• Ensure that bottling machines and equipment are well-maintained, calibrated, and in good working condition.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule regular maintenance and repair activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor'ss degree in Engineering, Production Management, Food Science, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in bottling operations, with at least 6 years in a leadership or managerial role within the liquor, beverage, or related industry.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of bottling line equipment and technology.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to drive process improvements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
