Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager with expertise in Human Resources (HR), Industrial Relations (IR), and Labour Laws to oversee and manage all HR functions within our chemical and machine manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with local labour laws, handle employee relations, drive talent management, and support business growth through effective HR strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources (HR) Management
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices in alignment with company objectives.
Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes.
Manage employee engagement, retention, and succession planning initiatives.
Conduct performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and appraisals.
Identify training and development needs and coordinate learning programs.
Industrial Relations (IR)
Maintain positive relationships with employees, trade unions, and labor representatives.
Handle grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions in compliance with legal guidelines.
Negotiate with unions and manage collective bargaining agreements.
Address employee concerns and foster a fair and transparent work environment.
Labour Laws & Compliance
Ensure strict compliance with Factories Act, Industrial Disputes Act, Employees' State Insurance (ESI), Provident Fund (PF), Minimum Wages Act, and other applicable labor laws.
Maintain statutory records, reports, and audits related to labor laws.
Liaise with government authorities and legal advisors to handle labor law matters.
Monitor changes in labor laws and implement necessary HR policy updates.
Employee Welfare & Safety
Drive initiatives for employee welfare, health, and safety in collaboration with EHS teams.
Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations.
Promote a positive work culture and address employee concerns proactively.
HR Operations & Payroll
Oversee payroll processing, attendance management, and leave policies.
Ensure accurate salary administration, tax compliance, and benefits management.
Manage HR analytics, reporting, and workforce planning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: MBA in HR / MSW / PG Diploma in Labour Laws & Industrial Relations.
Experience: 8-12 years of HR experience in a chemical or machine manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of HR, IR, and Indian Labour Laws.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and handle pressure in a manufacturing setup.
