Lead Software Engineer

The position of Lead Software Engineer at Timelabs is a full-time, on-site role. In this capacity, you will work with the development and maintenance of web applications, leveraging your extensive knowledge in software development and programming. Your expertise in programming will be essential in crafting efficient and resilient software solutions. The role demands proficient problem-solving abilities and a collaborative spirit to work with cross-functional teams.

Skills Required:

• At least 5+ years of relevant experience in web development on .Net Platform

• Critical thinking, problem-solving and strong analytical skills are must.

• Extensive experience with programming languages database such as C#, JavaScript, Python, MSSQL etc.

• Experience working with agile development in business-critical applications.

• Strong logical, problem solving and critical thinking abilities

• Excellent organization and time management skills

• Demonstrated ability to lead a team

• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties

• Degree in Computer Science or relevant field.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

• Periodically review the code and ensure code quality standards are met

• Monitor the development timelines delegate tasks to developers.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex software problems

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

• Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and other engineers

• Contribute to the development of technical specifications and project plans

• Ensure software quality for efficiency responsiveness.

• Document and maintain software functionality.
