Senior Software Engineer

Design, implement and maintain all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile methodology. Perform MicroStrategy Project design while ensuring that requirements are met. As a MicroStrategy Developer, lead BI design and development activities, identify risks and recommend risk mitigation plans. So, how are we going to keep you busy Create and manage all of MicroStrategy objects, including, but not limited to, attributes, facts, metrics, and prompts. Reviewing past projects, identify requests for similar data as candidates for broader solution development. Work independently under the guidance of a Technical Lead/Project manager. Generate appropriate unit test plans and assure quality of work. Collaborate with other team members (Database/ETL) in creating optimal, maintainable, and scalable Architecture. Work with Business users to help refine business requirements. Provide support for all phases of testing such as System testing, and user acceptance testing. Perform new and upgrade installations on MicroStrategy servers. What will make you eligible for this role Bachelors degree. 5-10 years of relevant experience in Telecom/IT industry. 5+ years of experience working on MicroStrategy reports and dashboards. Experience in Telecom industry including rating, billing, roaming clearing. Experience, that will be an advantage: Experience with MicroStrategy version 10 (or above) development solutions. Experience working in Agile methodology. What will make you the best-fit for this role Expertise on MicroStrategy Tool ( version 10 or above ). Creating and developing MSTR Reports and Dashboards. Hands on experience with MSTR GUI tools (Developer, Object Manager, Command manager). BI/Datawarehouse knowledge - Basic/Intermediate Level. SQL - Intermediate Level. Linux - Basic/Intermediate Level. Knowledge of Databases - SQL, Oracle, Hadoop (Hive/Trino).
