Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Design, document, implement and integrate new functions into cutting edge industrial solutions Debug and troubleshoot complex systems spanning multiple devices Encompass low-level drivers for I2C and SPI devices up to network protocols and application middleware Pay special focus on security through all stages of design and development Assist the team in improvising the company s software platform roadmap and technology choices around open system technologies Analyze software engineering tasks to verify the resulting software meet company s objectives Job Requirements: Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience) At least 8+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer Must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in embedded systems, technologies, and development environments Nice to have experience with TLS and PKI management Demonstrable experience in industrial automation platforms, including PLCs, RTUs, and DCS systems Proven experience in designing, developing, and debugging software Prior experience in all stages of the software development lifecycle in an agile environment Prolific understanding of developing and testing industrial automation protocols, including Ethernet, IPv4/6, TCP/UDP, MQTT/Sparkplug, and OPC UA, is nice to have Comprehensive knowledge of security concepts such as TLS, PKI, Secure Boot is a plus Nice to have experience in C, C++, C#, Java, Python, IEC 61131 Experience with development environments such as Green Hills Compiler/Multi, IAR, MS Visual Studio Experience deploying development tools including Git, SVN, Jira, Bitbucket, MS Office Experience in Operating Systems such as Windows, GHS Integrity, FreeRTOS, embedded Linux (Yocto/Buildroot) is preferred Experience in Protocol (TCP/IP, IPv6, OPC UA, MQTT) is preferred but not required Security Experience, including TLS/SSL, PKI, OAuth, Secure Boot, Secure manufacturing, is a bonus Role: Post Silicon Test Engineer Industry Type: IT Services & Consulting Department: Engineering - Software & QA Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: Quality Assurance and Testing Education UG: Any Graduate PG: Any Postgraduate read more Key Skills C++IPV6EthernetEmbedded LinuxAgileWindowsMiddlewareSSLPythonEmbedded software
