Job Overview:

The Shift Incharge is responsible for managing and overseeing daily operations during their assigned shift. This role includes supervising staff, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring the smooth running of operations. The Shift Incharge ensures that health, safety, and quality standards are adhered to, while also handling any issues that may arise during the shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire shift operation, including monitoring productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Supervise and lead the team to ensure that work is completed according to operational targets and timelines.
• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines, policies, and procedures at all times.
• Ensure smooth operations by addressing any technical or operational issues that may arise during the shift.
• Coordinate with the team members, ensuring they are trained, equipped, and motivated to perform tasks efficiently.
• Prepare shift reports detailing production, issues, and achievements, and submit them to the operations manager.
• Maintain inventory and material levels to ensure continuous production.
• Ensure all equipment is in working order, and escalate maintenance needs to relevant departments.
• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of quality control measures.
• Handle customer or client queries or complaints during the shift, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
• Implement and follow up on corrective actions if quality issues or production delays arise.
• Conduct regular team meetings and shift briefings to ensure all team members are informed of any changes in processes or priorities.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Report and escalate any safety or operational concerns to the management immediately.
• Foster a positive and productive working environment, promoting teamwork and a high level of performance.
